chado-utils software package provides tools to add/extract data from Chado, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chado-utils
chado-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chado-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chado-utils *
You will get with chado-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
